"Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself."
- Suzanne Somers
We probably all know that it is wise and healthy to forgive. But even if we know, sometimes we forget. Or we ignore the voice of wisdom. And we end up holding on to anger, hurt, and resentment.
Unfortunately, these emotions can settle in, make a home in the heart, and grow, especially if we feed them. This leaves less room for love and compassion. Joy too.
For the good of all, let's act with wisdom and forgive.
What about judging? What about justice?
It's normal, healthy, and wise to evaluate and judge actions. We can - we must - let natural consequences happen and learnings occur as we aim, very humanly, to care for the very human person who we feel "wronged" us in some way.
The bottom line is: May we forgive, forgive ourselves, forgive others, forgive all.
With love, compassion, and wisdom,
Charlene
THE TENTH GIFT IS WISDOM.
Wisdom will lead you through knowledge to understanding.
May you hear its soft voice.
