TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"Don’t wait for the time to do things you love.
Make the time to do the things you love."

                        ~Alan Cohen

Time. It's a precious resource. What its value? We each decide.

Many of us take the gift of time for granted and act as if we'll be here forever, or a least for a long enough time to get to all our "somedays."

Someday we'll take that trip. Someday we'll act upon that brilliant idea. Someday we'll reconcile with our siblings.

The sugar mill ruins on the island of St. John reminded my husband and I to act upon our "somedays," especially his African safari dream.  Why?

“Ruins are the cathedrals of Time,” wrote author Marty Rubin.

I can't say it any better than that.

If you were standing in the midst of a "cathedral of Time," what might the ruins say to you?

Being here now,

Charlene
