TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"Let us fill our hearts with our own compassion - towards ourselves and towards all living beings."
                               ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

Yes. Let's. For all the hurt. For all pain. For all fears.

"Humans have a huge capacity to carry pain and sadness, said Henry Rollins.

Mindful of the hurt, sensitive to the sadness, let's reach deeply into compassion today.

As Thich Nhat Hanh advises, let us fill our hearts with it. Our capacity for holding compassion and having it flow through us to others is great too.

Let's bring forth all the nuances and aspects of compassion...the comfort, the understanding, the acceptance, the feeling for and with others, the empathy, the caring with, the keening with, the silent being with.

Let's fill our hearts and apply the healing balm of compassion to ourselves, to all.

Imagine compassion like a fluid rainbow.
We each are given buckets of it today.
Imagine painting the planet with it today.

Layers of loving comfort are soothing, strengthening, encouraging all.

May we show that we care

to others,
to many,

Today,
Charlene
