Occasionally friendships are like love at first sight. We meet someone and the heartfelt click is spontaneous. We may feel as if we have known this someone special forever, or that we were best friends or siblings or spouses in a former life, or...something else that attempts to explain the strong response.
But more
often, friendships are built love brick by love brick, kindness by kindness, caring by caring.
Today, let's give thanks for all our friendships, however they developed or are in development.
Is there someone - a dear old friend, a new friend, a maybe friend, a seemingly unlikely to become a close friend - who needs a drop of kindness today? Let's respond to any
nudges we feel about this.
Let's reach out and let at least one friend receive a special expression of our appreciation and loving attention.
Perhaps we ourselves are the friend who needs some of our special attention.
Some say there is a vessel we all share. It is deep and wide. When it
is filled, there will be a shift throughout the world, in all of humanity.
As best we can, being true to ourselves, let's embody the spirit of friendship and be kindness itself today.
