TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.”

                      ~ e.e. cummings

Today, let's become more aware of what is natural around us.

Look beyond all that is metal, concrete, and plastic. Notice the sun, the sky, and the soil. Pause and appreciate all that is green and growing. All that is alive.

Imagine answering, "Yes. I have such an ear," to Kate Chopin's question:

“I wonder if anyone else has an ear so tuned and sharpened as I have, to detect the music, not of the spheres, but of the earth….”

Even if we can't yet detect the music of the earth or hear messages from dolphins or bees, let's be guided by Bruce Lipton's words:

“It is time we heed the wisdom of the ancient indigenous people and channel our consciousness and spirit to tend the garden and not destroy it.”

Loving Mother Earth and all God's creation,
Charlene
