TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"Hope is like a road in the country; there was never a road, but when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence."

                    ~ Lin Yutang

Let's dare to "hope for the best."

Hope for the best may sound trite, a cliche. I don't know why, but up until now, I also heard it as hoping for something minimal, the best of what may come from a poor diagnosis or dismal situation.

But I'm hearing the phrase in a fresh new way today. Hope for the best! The highest good for all. Hope for excellence.

When many of us hold hope and beautiful visions, we benefit individually and collectively.

With our hopes, dreams, and action steps, let's create new roads and pathways toward peace and the realization of our highest ideals and humanity's best.

"Let hope be your pulse
Faith in every heartbeat
Joy with every breath," says Terri Guillemets.

Me too,
Charlene
