"The feather was a thing, when I was a kid, we used to find feathers around the house, and whenever we found them, my mum used to say it was my nan leaving them around for us to find..."
~ Liam Payne
For some people, it's feathers. For
others, it's coins, especially dimes. Finding a dime on the seat in a theater or a restaurant or anywhere is perceived as a love note from a loved one who passed.
For others, it's seeing butterflies or cardinals or coming upon pretty stones in unusual places.
Catching a scent
of flowers or detecting in an unlikely place the fragrance that a person wore is a sign for some.
One winter day, a few months after my mom died, my car was suddenly filled with the scent of roses. My brother picks up a whiff of her perfume every now and then and feels comforted by what feels like her presence.
I understand this sensing that a deceased relative is near usually happens when we need
encouragement to believe. Perhaps it's to have faith in ourselves, or a dream, or that healing is possible, or that all will be well, or that there is more to life, or that there's life after life.
Has this ever happened to you?
Mysterious things happen in every life at times, numinous, luminous things. We experience coincidences that are stronger than coincidence.
For most of us, these are not everyday events. But for some highly sensitive people who
fully believe in mystical happenings, wondrous things occur often.
Let's take a leap of faith today. Let's drop our disbeliefs and try to see the world with child-like trust and enthusiasm. Let's believe in the unseen and be receptive to heavenly help, however it comes.
Leaping,
Charlene
