"We are like the little branch that quivers during a storm, doubting our strength and forgetting we are the tree—deeply rooted to withstand all life’s upheavals.”
~ Dodinsky
What might we do today to shift our perspective
and, maybe not see but, sense that we are all connected, not only to one another, but to all creation?
Can you recall a time - perhaps on a vacation, perhaps as a child, perhaps when you faced a danger - when you did feel such a connection?
I have felt they wat when a loved one died, when I was at funerals, and when I watched the news of tragic events and I saw how most
people deeply care and reach out to help one another.
If, at any time today, you feel like a vulnerable little branch with little strength, little power, little significance, pause and consider this Dodinsky quote.
Intend and expect to experience a shift from helplessness to hopefulness, from fear to faith.
Ask for help.
And imagine how you are like a tree. Realize
that, like a tree rooted in the ground, you are rooted in "The Ground of All Being."
We all are.
May this also help us see beyond any and all differences that disturb us.
With love, reverence and prayers for peace,
Charlene

"All things share the same breath - the beast, the tree, the man... the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports." (Chief Seattle)
