"When was the last time you spent a quiet moment just doing nothing - just sitting and looking at the sea, or watching the wind blowing the tree limbs, or waves rippling on a pond, a flickering candle or children playing in the park?"
~ Ralph Marston
It seems to me that from Halloween through New Year's Day there is an extraordinary amount of business and busyness going on in the midst of all the holy day and holiday celebrations.
I don't know about you, but I'm wanting - needing - some time to rest and simply be, and then to sit still and feel connected with
nature, and then to actively listen for whispers of guidance.
Before we dive fully into goals and resolutions and taking steps toward our dreams, let's consider resting and waiting to receive guidance toward our growings and for what we may contribute to the world now, this year, using our fabulous talents and precious time.
Do you know how much you matter? How much you have to give and make a difference?
Keep in mind that your valuable contribution may be the deep peace that you hold, or your kindness toward all, or your fiery activism toward justice for all, or your caring for animals and the environment, or the
lightheartedness you bring into every situation, or....the possibilities are endless. But you know. Or you will know when you listen.
Let's all take time to listen so we may step into our power, our ability to bring greater beauty, peace, and harmony into the world.
Amen,
Charlene
