"And now we welcome the new year. Full of things that have never been."
~ Rainer Maria Rilke
Here we are. 2017. Day one.
Happy New Year everyone.
How are you welcoming
this new year?
Is it with hope, joy, and enthusiasm? Or with a sense of dread and doom? With depression? Anxiety? What might we do that will enhance the quality of this day and shape some things that have never been?
Melody Beattie says:
"The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write
that story by setting goals."
Along with goal-setting, actually prior to it, let's first imagine and vision what we desire. Then, let's set intentions to create that vision.
Next, as Sarah Ban Breathnach says:
"Take a leap of faith and begin this wondrous new year by believing. Believe in yourself. And believe that there is a loving Source - a Sower of Dreams - just waiting to be asked to help you make your dreams come true."
Let's ask for help and also think beyond ourselves. Consider what Goran Persson advises too:
"Let our New Year's resolution be this: we will be there for one another as fellow members of humanity, in the finest sense of the word."
For our good and the good of all,
Charlene
