"Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. Remember, nature needs no help, no interference. There are processes of life, things we all go through. The struggles are a part of our journey and are preparing us for what awaits. They are preparing us to fly."
~ unknown
The quote above from a wisdom story. In it, a man tries to "help" a butterfly emerge from its cocoon, which does not help at all.
Several of the tale's take-aways are in the quote above. The main one is that struggles are a natural and helpful part of life for all of us.
Again using the butterfly as a symbol of transformation - as we did a few days ago - let's aim to honor our struggles as we face them with hope and confidence.
Speaking of butterflies...
Did you know that:
Butterflies generally fly at 5-10 mph but some can fly at 30
mph?
Their wings are actually transparent?
They are boneless but have over 1,000 muscles?
The wings are solar panels?
There are about 24,000 species of butterflies?
Their life spans range from 1 week to 10 months?
With gratitude for knowledge and wisdom,
Charlene
