"Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures."
~ H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
Yes! Let's.
That's
my succinct reflective response to this succinct quote.
With love,
Charlene
But, one of my small pleasures is writing to you. So...
I would like to offer a suggestion for those of you who wish to read more and to consider an activity.
Make a list of some of your simple pleasures. Notice how you feel as you do that. Then savor many small things as you go about your day.
Relishing simple things often leads to grateful, joyful feelings and then on to courageous, creative thinking.
Confident big visioning and sweet simple enjoying - That's what I'm wishing
for you today.
Before closing, these are a few of my simple pleasures:
Biting into buttered and salted sweet summer corn,
Finding a truly tasty tomato,
Floating in warm gulf water,
Showering after a day
at the beach,
Sleeping in fresh clean bedding,
Receiving a love note,
Smelling just cut grass,
Reading a good book,
Seeing a rainbow,
Savoring a piece of chocolate,
Hearing my grandchildren giggle,
Hugs.
Feel free to tell me some of your favorite things!
More love,
Charlene
