"We should all do what, in the long run, gives us joy, even if it is only picking grapes or sorting the laundry."
~ E. B.
White
It's very popular now to encourage, even urge, one another to dream big, shoot for the moon, break records...you know what I mean?
You have sometimes heard it right here. I admit that I'm among the coaches cheering us all upward and onward.
It's not wrong. This has worth.
Hear the BUT coming?
BUT, let's maintain balance, follow our own bliss, and respect all life paths.
Let's now ask "What does bring me joy?"
Perhaps it is only picking grapes. Do we need that only? I think
not.
Let's delete it and from now on refrain from judging, minimizing, apologizing, and being condescending about choices. Let's respect them all, joyfully.
With courage, reverence and wisdom, let's choose something that will bring us joy today.
For our own good and the good of all,
Charlene
