TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"A young mosquito went out flying
for the first time in its life.
The father asked:
'How did you feel?'
.
The mosquito replied:
'It was GREAT!
Everyone was clapping for me.' "
     ~ unknown

Ha ha.

Although the story goes on with the father warning the little guy to be careful because not everyone who appears to be celebrating with you is a well wisher, let's enjoy the innocence and optimism of the young mosquito and also dive with wisdom into hope at its depths.

Rumi said, "Live life as if everything is rigged in your favor."

It's true that not everyone is a well-wisher for the mosquito nor for us.

But Our Source and Sustainer is supporting all of creation and that includes you and me.

Today, with hope - and faith too - let's trust that Life is clapping for us.

With gratitude,
Charlene
