While there is much to care about, instead of dwelling on heavy concerns and all that seems to be wrong in our personal lives and in the world, let's allow our somberness and worries to soften.
Please start
by taking a slow deep breath in, followed by a hold, and then a long slow exhale out until your lungs feel emptied.
Repeat this breathing two more times while letting your shoulders drop. Relax your facial muscles and belly tightness, too.
Now imagine going to a place out in the actual world or within you that is like a breezy, wide-open field. Perhaps there is a
place where you flew a kite, or very much wanted to.
If you don't readily imagine such a place, can you revisit a childhood memory of a time you ran like the wind or swam like a fish or flew like a bird or simply felt joyfully alive and free?
