"Don't stop because you're frustrated. Keep going because you are getting there."
~ Kevin
Harrington
What is your "there"? What are you aiming for?
Kevin's quote reminds me of touchstone from a few months ago that used the image of bow and arrow to shift from discouragement to greater determination.
Sometimes, not only do we get
stuck, we seem to go backwards. Or we really do fall back.
But, instead of judging any backward steps as "bad," consider how an arrow is pulled back alongside the bow in order to have the energy to propel far forward.
As Kevin says, don't stop. Now is not the time to give up on your dreams and
aspirations. Maybe you just need a rest or a fresh new perspective. Or both.
Visualize a bow and arrow. The arrow represents your steps and you. Pull back a bit - both to rest and to gather the energy to shoot straight to your goal.
Now, breathe and believe.
Bull's Eye!
You did it!
With faith,
Charlene
