"We adults have to work to see with a child’s wonder. It is a loss that we need to overcome; can overcome, to restore enchantment to our experience of the world."
~ Susan Eirich,
PhD
We all had it as children. Wonder. Wonderment. Awe. A knowing that nature is amazing and that we are a part of it. Remember?
This ability is still within us.
Restoring it will deeply enrich us and every aspect of our lives.
"How do I do this?" you might be asking.
A method that works for me may or may not work for you. But I will share
what led me to wonderment yesterday morning.
I saw on FB a story about an injured wolf being treated with loving touch and healing energy. I clicked on the link and read about The Earthfire Institute. I watched and listened to several healing stories.
The music, the voice of the founder, Susan Eirich, and the reports about the wolf, a deer, and a bear not only amazed me, they returned me to that child-like place
within.
"As we enter in any aspect of nature the wonder just increases," says Susan.
Today, find your way to wonder and reverence. Make time to do something that restores your sweet child nature.
With love, faith, and hope,
Charlene
