Chopra says it this way: “...you have a unique talent and a unique way of expressing it. There is something that you can do better than anyone else in the whole world--and for every unique talent and unique expression of that talent, there are also unique needs."
The poet Hafiz wrote, "This place where you are right now, God circled on a map for you."
Consider the rich diversity in the ways that
flowers and trees express life, how they grow, when they bloom. You may be similar to the orchid, to bamboo, to the century plant, or to the redwood tree. Consider the whole web of life, in which you are a beautiful and needed strand.
As we near the end of July and this month's focus on talent, please reflect on your beliefs about the gift of talent in you. Over the course of this month, have you had any ah-has about talent? Have you experienced any new insights about
yourself? Been encouraged? Discouraged? Please hold faith and hope.
