"If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the
fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive."
~ Eleonora Duse
Yes, if this is happening for you, rejoice!
And if you are not feeling this way, trust that your soul is alive, even if the sights, scents, and sounds of nature are not stirring a rejoicing song in you.
Remember the seasons
of nature. For everything, including you and me, there are seasons. Whatever season you are experiencing now, consider looking to nature for comfort, support, and guidance.
On a walk yesterday morning, I noticed that the leaf stalks on many fern-variety plants were partially folded inward. Were they still in sleep mode, even if the time was 10 am?
Were they retaining needed water, even though there has been plenty of rain? I don't know why. I do know that the pattern I observed stirred in me, along with curiosity, a feeling of love and tenderness toward the plants. Appreciation too, for their beauty, wisdom, strength, and talent.
I absolutely trust that beauty, wisdom, strength, and talent are within you.
Also and always,
Charlene
