"If we never experience the chill of a dark winter; it is very unlikely that we will ever cherish the warmth of a bright summer's day. Nothing stimulates our appetite for the simple joys of life more than starvation caused by sadness or desperation. In
order to complete our amazing life journey successfully, it is vital that we turn each and every dark tear into a pearl of wisdom, and find the blessing in every curse."
~ Antoine St. Maarten
A few days ago I lost a pearl. When I noticed the empty setting in a ring my husband gave me years ago, I felt sadness and thought of this
lovely quote.
While it is not the magnitude of a curse or dark tears, I still would like to turn this loss of a real pearl into a pearl of wisdom. I believe there are potential blessings and learnings in every experience we have. What do you believe?
I'm thinking that this lesson is about my not paying attention to some wisdom I gained in the past and need to again live by. I trust that it will become clear to me.
And I hope that this day brings you sweet joy in life's simple pleasures, guiding wisdom, and a flow of blessings.
With love,
Charlene
