"Misery gnaws to the bone.
Why then do we not despair?"
~ Anna Akhmatova
Because hope lives in
us, perched in our souls, singing, as Emily Dickinson describes.
But, sometimes we do despair. Maybe for an hour, a day, or a week. Maybe longer.
But darkness is not forever. Every dark night ends with a dawning.
Whatever your state today, please trust that hope is in your heart, singing. If you don't hear it or feel
its vibration, trust with a seed of faith, however tiny it may be.
Then tune in. Listen. Feel.
It might start as a whisper-soft humming.
When you notice it, hum along, as best you can.
A choir, a whole orchestra stands ready to support your song of hope.
In the meantime, be as kind as you can
be.
With love,
Charlene
