TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"Experience life in all possible ways --
good-bad, bitter-sweet, dark-light,
summer-winter. Experience all the dualities.
Don't be afraid of experience, because
the more experience you have, the more
mature you become.”

                                      ~ Osho

This quote underscores the PS message I added yesterday.

We may prefer the flavor of chocolate over the taste of kale. We'd probably rather stroll along a sandy beach than struggle to survive in a hurricane.

But just as the foods that are sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent, and astringent all provide benefits, life's ranging experiences do too.

As a symbol of our intention to be at peace with the bitter as well as the sweet, let's treat ourselves to a piece of bittersweet chocolate today.

Perhaps you already know that besides its interesting taste, bittersweet chocolate is good for brain and nerve function, stress reduction, cholesterol management and more.

Savor the beauty of it all.

With joy,

Charlene
