While beauty can be seen on the outside of us - and there's nothing wrong with that - except too much emphasis is placed on that, especially for females. Just look at all the ads for ageless skin, no lines, being slim and trim, covering the grey, looking sexy, etc. Of course, it's to sell "beauty" products, but whether or not we buy those products, we all seem to buy into beliefs that we have to look a certain way.

admit that I color my hair, wear make-up, and want to lose the 25 lbs. I gained after surgery. While it's mainly for health and comfort, I'm wanting that for outer appearance too.
But it's inner beauty that means the most to me - mine, yours and ours - the beauty within all of us.
Of all The Twelve Gifts, it seems that beauty and talent are the two gifts that people doubt the most about having.
"I got passed over when God was giving beauty/talent," many
joke. Ha ha. We may laugh. But seriously, putting the question of talent aside for another time, let's aim to better see beauty within ourselves and others.
As a start, for today, please visualize a geode or a plain rock with a sparking crystal interior. Consider using that as a symbol for the beauty that's within our nature. More to come...
