Lose weight. Get fit. Build strength.
These are among the goals many of us have now. I'm among the many. Are you?
You know the saying, "I've been rich and I've been poor and rich is better"?
Well I've been fit and I've been unfit and fit is better too.
Many helpful tips, diets and structured physical programs are available to us
now.
Along with encouragement and support, I like to offer a few "heart and soul" things to consider.
First. We have "fitness" built within us, just as we have strength.
Second. Strength has many aspects, like the facets of a well-cut diamond. Among its aspects are: zeal, determination and perseverance. We have access to zeal, always.
Third. It's wise to let all of our inner resources assist us. Along with strength, we can use our imaginations to visualize ourselves radiantly healthy and energetically fit. We can allow compassion to keep us balanced and working toward our goals lovingly. Hope. Faith. Joy. Beauty. Courage. Reverence. Wisdom. They can coach us, support us and guide us.
Fourth. Outside tools can help us. But we've got to recognize the power, the worth and the wealth within us.
Fifth. You've got what it takes. You can do it. I believe in you.
Truly,
Charlene
