TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"Silence is a source of great strength."

                     ~ Lao Tzu

We all need silence, some more than others.

At this time of year, for many of us there is more to do. Along with feeling festive, we may become frazzled. Let's be sure to make time each day to simply be...to be still and be silent.

"When I make it a regular routine to rest in the Silence of my own being, I am able to approach every life circumstance with unbounded  faith and strength," said yesterday's Daily Word.

I find that to be true.

So, for strength, faith, peace and more, "Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself," as Elisabeth Kubler-Ross advised.

Consider starting now, even if it's just a few minutes each day, and growing this practice in the New Year.

Toward deepened strength, faith and peace,
Charlene
