"Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad."
~ Henry Wadsworth
Longfellow
Too often we judge a person as mean, boring, stuck-up, unfriendly and a host of other unattractive features when a man, woman or child is actually hurting, troubled and challenged in some way.
You've probably heard: "When someone seems unlovable is when he or she needs the most love."
Today, let's avoid measuring a person by our beliefs, standards, likes, dislikes, needs and personal preferences and prejudices. Let's avoid jumping to conclusions and judging.
May our intention be to accept our fellow human beings. As we go through this day, let's
extend caring thoughts to all. Wish each person well. Treat them with respect.
Act kindly. Smile often. Send loving energy. Say prayers here and there.
Remember that each person was once an innocent infant needing care, needing love. They still do.
Just as plants of all ages and stages in their life cycle need water, nutrients and sunlight, we all need these things too. Along with love.
From me to
you,
Charlene
