“It has been said, 'time heals all wounds.' I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.”
~ Rose
Fitzgerald Kennedy.
But, “Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us,” said David Richo.
I believe that our wounds can lead us into deeper compassion, empathy, love and wisdom.
What do you say? What is your experience?
I pray that all our hurts
lead to healings and into greater loving, caring and kindness to ourselves and others.
With hope and faith,
Charlene
