TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"The most significant gifts are the ones most easily overlooked. Small, everyday blessings: woods, health, music, laughter, memories, books, family, friends, second chances, warm fireplaces, and all the footprints scattered throughout our days."

                          ~ Sue Monk Kidd

May we appreciate the beautiful little things that uplift us throughout this day.

Too often we let everyday blessings pass with notice because we've got a lot on our minds, or we're in a hurry, or we're worried, or we're taking things for granted or...there are many reasons.

Let's fine tune our attentiveness today so we can feel the subtle stirrings of delight, comfort and encouragement that happen within us.

Let's also notice how we experience and use "The Twelve Gifts." They are often overlooked too.

Feel for nudges to bring your inner beauty into the world in various ways. Someone may benefit more than you'll ever know from a kind word, heartfelt listening or a warm smile from you.

Let's make this a day of beauty and thanksgiving. Why wait for November 23? Let's give thanks today for all things large and small that bless us.

With love,
Charlene
