It's easy to be nice to the nice.

Or, as the M.A.S.H. character, Frank Burns, put it, "It's nice to be nice to the nice." 

But, being nice to the grumpy, the mean, the nasty, the sarcastic, the critical, the unkind...well, that often takes extra effort with a conscious choice. And it's one well worth making.

For, as today's quote author Mr. Bennett also said:
“Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.”
