"This may shock you, but the most important person in your life is you. You are meant to be 'full of yourself.'" ~ Alexandra Stoddard
A few days ago, I heard, for the first time, the expression: If I'm not full of myself, who should I be full of?
It's a good question, isn't it? But for much of our lives, many of us heard forms of: Don't be full of yourself.
While it was meant to mean:
Don't get stuck up.
Don't think you're better than others.
Don't think only of yourself.
Make room in your mind and heart to care for others.
Leave room for God.
For many of us it created false and limiting beliefs.
If we're not becoming fully ourselves, who will? It's ours to do. And it's not too late.
Let's embrace who we are and become the best we can be.
Day by day,
Charlene
