“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free." ~Michelangelo
We may or may not be sculptors or painters or poets or architects. There's only one Michelangelo and only one you and one me.
But what if we realized that we are all artists of a sort, with our own talents and abilities to bring out the best of ourselves and others?
I hope we will realize this someday soon because it's true.
Today, let's look beyond the coldness and hardness that many among us have layered over tender hearts.
We may or may not be able to set such people free, but we can aim to see the beautiful beings trapped inside, which can begin a warming, melting, and freeing process.
With love, compassion, and reverence,
Charlene
