"The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives."
~ Albert Einstein
Remember playing I Spy with My Little Eye? Let's aim to be in a state of mind like that today, scanning high and low, indoors and out, hunting for beauty everywhere. Let's listen for it too. And feel for it.
Every time we spot and sense it, let's remember that the beauty we perceive outside of us is evidence of the beauty inside us. It's true. Because if beauty wasn't within us, we would not be able to recognize it anywhere.
And if beauty seems absent from your world today, try a different approach. First choose to be gentle and kind with yourself. Bring compassion and faith into this day. If nothing looks beauty-full, fine tune your search. Watch for any and every teeny little uplift you feel. Consider the beauty of that.
May beauty in many forms nourish us, heal us, delight us, and inspire us.
Toward peace and joy for all,
Charlene
P.S. - This photo is also from Leu Gardens. When I was there on Valentine's Day, I did look high and low. Beauty was everywhere. I'll be posting photos from there for the next few days. Some are humorous as well as beautiful. Wishing you beauty, peace, and joy. Love too, always.
