“Every experience is a stitch in the fabric of your character.” ~ Gary Clausing
Dear Friends,
I think we all know the truth of this quote. It's in the wisdom of our souls. We may even believe it in our heads. But no matter how far our learnings have led us, no matter how awakened we've become, sometimes our heart wants to resist the pain of another loss. Sometimes our gut automatically tightens against another large life challenge or change.
Today, let's aim first to be present, honest, and real in our experiences. Let's feel what we're feeling, whether it's a bright yellow joy, a pinkish-purple hope, or a deep blue blue. Let's notice our sensations and responses as we are experiencing this and that.
And then, let's see if we can sense how our moving through diverse life experiences is like weaving a fabric. Let's aim to appreciate every color and pattern in our own particular fabric. If we don't see it yet, someday we will see its awesome beauty.
Truly,
Charlene
