"Grace isn't a little prayer you chant before receiving a meal. It's a way to live." ~ Jackie Windspear
Hmm. What does that look like? Feel like? Grace as a way to live?
After reflecting, for me, it's being in the moment, aware that I'm aware. I'm just being. I'm appreciating something very simple. These moments are rare.
It's also when I'm hearing someone with my heart, especially my husband, a daughter, or a grandchild. Once in a while, it's a listening, caring, and connecting encounter with a stranger.
It's also laughing uncontrollably with someone; It's genuine "I can't stop laughing" laughing; It's crossing my legs laughing; It's racing to a bathroom laughing. That's a kind of grace too.
There are a million more ways. May we find at least one of those ways today and live this day grateful and grace-full.
With peace,
Charlene
