"All colors are the friends of their neighbors and the lovers of their opposites." ~ Marc Chagall
Picture a color wheel.
What Chagall said is true.
I wish it were for humanity too.
Near or far, close or complementary,
we'd all be good at making beauty already.
Now picture a rainbow, a garden, and a feather with many hues. Nature offers lessons of color too.
Today, let's pay special attention to all that we see. Notice colors indoors and out, in soft shades and bold tones, human-made and nature-made.
Little by little or in great big strides, may we move from fear and mistrust through tolerance and acceptance on to loving all the colors in our human family.
To reverence, friendship, and peace too,
Charlene
