Dear Friends and Family,

I've loved opening advent calendar windows and doors since I was a young child.  Some held chocolates. Some held little trinkets. Some showed a quote when the window was opened. In the spirit of those calendars and the intention of Today's Touchstone to open our minds and hearts to The Twelve Gifts, December's touchstones will be designed to suggest opening a photo window each day. 
And because I also love Sanibel Island, especially the garden of Sanibel Moorings, every day will feature photos from the garden. So, in addition to our usual universal quotes and reflections, each touchstone will offer warmth and beauty. I hope you enjoy them.
