Why is it that we can appreciate the beauty of trees even when, especially when, they grow in odd ways, with trunks twisting and branches bending yet we are not so inclined to see beauty in ourselves and others?
Instead of being ready to notice imperfections and to judge one another, let's live this day looking beyond our human flaws and foibles to see beauty. It's there in you and me even when we flounder, flop, fizzle, goof, mess up, fall flat and fail.
