"In the hidden folds of our life, we can find forgotten or unsuspected treasures, which we have not appreciated for want of time or attention. They are the gifts of life, some apparently banal, some special. If we are distracted we miss them; if we notice them, we are happier." ~Piero Ferrucci
On this day of Thanksgiving, let's notice the big, the small, the special, and the banal gifts in the folds of our lives. Let's take nothing for granted.|
Let's appreciate and honor our living loved ones and those who have died. If we experience holiday stress of any kind, let's choose to keep our hearts grateful and kind. It will keep us healthier, happier, and more hopeful.
As I think of you, all who are reading this, I'm aware that you are experiencing this day in many different ways and within a wide range of emotions - some with joy and laughter, some with sorrow and tears. To all, I'm sending love and gratitude. Thank you for being a part of this community.
May we be blessed with hearts kind and grateful for the treasures in the hidden folds of our lives, and with hope.
Always,
Charlene
