"We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept
it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it." ~ John Lennon
Love. Let's nurture it. Love for all those we call our "loved ones." Love for self. Love for love itself.
One way to do this is to simply decide to love. Simple? What if we don't feel loving, you might ask. Good question. While it's simple, it's not always easy. On the other hand, it's not as hard
as one might think, especially if we practice this regularly.
Today, let's practice:
applying love to
all that hurts within us,
showing love with kind words and actions,
responding with love instead of reacting with anger,
giving thanks for the gift of love itself.
As best and beautifully as we can,
Charlene
