"There's a new way to do life. Your life. And a part of you is ready...Feed that part." ~ Tom Zuba
What do you see? Someone said she
saw a dog chasing a chicken. That made me laugh. Another said she saw two spirit children running joyfully in the great beyond. That made me ponder.
You see, this cloud formation
appeared as the most amazing rainbow I've ever seen disappeared. Never before have I seen a rainbow so nearby that the end of it touched the ground behind our house.
I
mused. Might children who pass from this realm sometimes slide down rainbows? How often are they near?
Those two "running" clouds within the clouds could be glimpsed by human eyes for only a short time after the rainbow bridge vanished. Soon the playful runners left the sky too, right at the time of day the French call "entre chien at loup," a poetic name for the change of light that happens in between day and night.
I had already been thinking about the rainbow bridge.
The anniversary of my mom's passing is next week. Her birthday was earlier this month. Even though she died in 1996, I still miss her. I still sometimes grieve.
We all know grief. Today, let's pause and remember all our loved ones who have crossed the rainbow bridge, pets as well as people.
With love and reverence,
Charlene
Consider this too:
"The
death of someone we love cracks us open...The death of your beloved is transforming you...You were born to be radiant. And so was I. Not in spite of the fact that someone we love has died, but because of the fact that someone we love has died...Grief is the bearer of...gifts...Grief is a teacher..." - Tom Zuba
