The
philosopher Socrates lived between 470 BCE and 399 BCE. Even back then, and throughout the ages, there have been voices of wisdom encouraging us to focus on what we want to create in our personal lives and in the world.
Is there something you very much want to change now? Are you fighting against what you don't want or
working with hope, love, faith, and zeal for what you do want?
It seems to me that the "fighting against" mentality is high right now. Let's not add heat to the simmering stew of fear, hate, and aggression. That doesn't mean we give up or give in to things we perceive as unjust, harmful, and corrupt. It doesn't mean we simply allow dis-ease of any kind to spread.
But, instead of warring against anyone or anything, why not use our imaginations to envision better conditions and then use our strength, courage, talent, love - all we've got - to create it?
Love to you and your world today,
Charlene
