“To have a renewed body, you must be willing
to have new perceptions that give way to new solutions."
~ Deepak
Chopra.
What does this quote say to you?
Since I would like to be renewed in body, I want to figure out what this means for me, specifically. What perceptions do I need to change now?
I recall recognizing some perceptions I needed to change
- if I wanted to heal - when I was diagnosed with advanced lymphoma in 2000 and told, "There is no cure." At first I took that at face value. But when I learned that at least one person has achieved a cure from every kind of cancer, I understood that "There is no cure" meant that a treatment that looked promising had not yet been through clinical trials, passed the tests, been approved, etc. I released the perception that I was powerless and doomed, and I chose to believe that, if one
person can achieve a cure, I can too. That lead me to "new solutions."
We all hold some false and limiting beliefs. Why not change the false ones and expand the limiting ones? The first step is to set the intention to recognize how we hear, how we interpret, how we infer, and how we jump to conclusions. Actually, that's the second step. The first step is
simply for us to be willing to have new perceptions.
Willing? Ready?

Charlene
P.S. - After reflecting, I still don't know specifically what perceptions I need to change now. I'll be taking steps one and two, and I'll be listening for guidance. I'll share what I hear. Feel free to send me your understandings about what perceptions you need to change. With your permission, I'll share them here. There's strength in supporting each another. Beauty, too.
BEAUTY: May your deeds reflect its depth.
