"To bring anything into your life,
imagine that it's already there." ~ Richard Bach
Do you believe this is true? Do you have experience with this?
Remember the film The Secret that was wildly popular and successful about ten years ago?
The precept in
today's quote - that Imagination can bring what you want into your life - was, is, a large part of message in The Secret.
In that film, however, two other "ingredients"are presented as powerful and necessary: Faith and Gratitude.
We've got to believe that what we desire is absolutely possible for us. And we must deeply appreciate the manifestation of our dream.
Although I was not yet familiar with The Secret (it hadn't been produced yet), I recognize and appreciate that I employed the message of the film, in that I used Imagination, Faith, and Gratitude, to help me heal from lymphoma in 2000.
I also brought Love, Strength, Courage, Hope, Joy - all Twelve Gifts - into my thoughts and actions each day while I was being
treated with chemotherapy.
During that time and after, especially with healing and hearing the good news, "No evidence of cancer," I thought that the passionate extent of my using Imagination combined with all Twelve Gifts would never lessen. But I must admit that it ebbs and flows.
Today, I am encouraging myself to renew my zest, to dive deeper still into the wellspring of these powers within me. And, I am inviting you to dive deeper into
your own wellspring. So much is possible for each of us personally - and for what we can do in the world - when Hope, Faith, Courage, Love, Compassion, Strength, Beauty, Wisdom, Reverence, and Joy are flowing fully through us and when we are putting Imagination to good use.
Talent too,
Charlene
