"You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight." ~ Jim Rohn
We can do this by
changing the pictures in our minds and by what we tell ourselves about who we are and what's going to happen...about what has happened too.
The photo I'm using for this touchstone is one that I took while hiking on Soldier Pass Trail in Sedona, Arizona. During the ten years we lived in Red Rock country, I saw and followed many directional cairns like this one. Especially when the trail system was new to me, these cairns helped me whether I wanted to stay on Soldier Pass
Trail, cross off to the Teacup Trail, follow the Jordan Trail, or head to the Seven Sacred Pools. So many choices.
Every moment in every day we are heading somewhere. Do you have a clear sense of where you're going? Sometimes we don't. Consider using this picture of a cairn as a reminder to check the direction your imagination is headed.
This cairn can be a symbol for inner wisdom
guiding us toward clarity too.
Mostly, may we believe the best about ourselves and one another and imagine peace, beauty, and goodness ahead. Clarity too.
Always,
Charlene
