"Be yourself, but always your better self."
- Karl G. Maeser
A long time ago we learned to walk. Most likely our first baby step was celebrated and we were encouraged to take another step, then another. Falling down and getting up again was expected and accepted. It's the natural way we learn to take our own steps.
We may have been walking for many years, but some of us are still learning how to take our own steps in some area of life. Perhaps it's many of us.
Imagine if, through every stage of growing, we were all lovingly encouraged, even if we fell down now and then, to take our own steps toward being our true selves.
No matter what happened in the past, let's encourage one another right now to be our true selves, our best selves.
Always,
Charlene
