Pope Francis is urging all people to participate in this year's Season of Creation which begins today, September 1, and continues to October 4. 

The World Council of Churches was instrumental in designating a season of celebrating creation from September 1 until October 4.

I was reminded of this by an email from The Benedictine Sisters of Erie, PA, a community of women who inspire me greatly. 

Along with praying, I'll be looking for ways to act with reverence each day for Mother Earth and for all of us who make this precious planet our home. 

I welcome your suggestions and hearing how you might celebrate.
