"When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.” - The poet Rumi
Dear friends,
Like a moving river, I feel moved to send you a touchstone today, right now.
Many of us seem to be experiencing joy less often and to a lesser degree than we have in the past. Many among us are experiencing confusion and sadness. Grief. This is a time that calls for compassion, a caring compassion for others and for ourselves. We can always choose to act kindly no matter how we feel.
Let's do something from our soul today. Let's look for goodness and drop at least one pebble into the river Rumi wrote of. Begin perhaps by noticing beauty in nature.
We all have certain sights, sounds, scents, activities, memories and more that can start a rippling of gratitude in our inner river. Gratitude moves us to joy. And joy can move us to hope and to a flowing of all our gifts.
Truly,
Charlene
