I appreciate being reminded to practice the Beatitudes. I remember taking them to heart in early childhood.
I think there are some things, perhaps many things, that we understood better as children than we do as adults.
Along with working toward personal success and quality-of-life satisfaction for ourselves and our loved ones, let's stretch toward holding life's highest principles. Let's reach within to feel human needs. Let's extend ourselves for one another.
