Dear Friends,
The Eric Hoffer Award Committee has made public its list of finalists for the 2021 Eric Hoffer Grand Prize Award, and The Twelve Gifts from the Garden: Life Lessons for Peace and Well-Being is on it!
I am so honored by this recognition. One of the largest international book awards for small and independent presses, the Eric Hoffer Award honors freethinking writers and books of exceptional merit.
Winning the Grand Prize would be nice, of course, but this recognition is already a prize. I'm happy, grateful, and excited.
As you may know, this book is a collection of 50 story-reflections inspired by nature, mainly in a garden on Sanibel Island, FL.
My hopes are that the stories in this book will stir the gifts and the stories in you and that you'll feel transported to Sanibel, into the garden, and connected with nature in a deep way.
If you haven't already read it and would like to know more, please visit this page. You can order here too.
Thank you for following The Twelve Gifts and reading Today's Touchstones!
With love,
Charlene
