“Life must have its sacred moments and its holy places. We need the infinite, the limitless, the uttermost -- all that can give the heart a deep and strengthening peace." - A. Powell Davies
For deep and strengthening peace, let's be receptive to such moments.
I think we've all had them. At least one. We had them when we were children. Meditation can lead us into them now. Time in nature can too.
My mom led me into the one when I heard:
“What you do with your time and talent is critically important. Pay attention.”
I had just taken a walk around a hospital corridor with my mom. Our slow pace and what my mom did at each doorway led me into present moment, heightened awareness. While my mom slept, my senses took in the ordinary yet extraordinary scent of fresh cut grass, the joyful sound of children laughing, and the sight of sun rays streaming in like grace.
Such awareness can unveil the sacredness that is present in every moment.

it's about appreciating ordinary moments.
Of course there are no ordinary moments.
They're all magnificent."
